Yes, you can recycle your old contact lenses.
We all know the impact plastic waste has on the environment. At OVC we want to do our part to help reduce the damage it can cause. So we’ve set up a recycling programme for used and out of date contact lenses.
Anyone can bring in their contact lenses to be recycled, not just our patients. Simply drop them off in the recycling box at our practice. We accept any brand and both hard and soft lenses.
We’ll pass your lenses on to a recycling project where they’ll be used to make modern art and furniture. How amazing!
